This Villa in San Juan Capistrano is one of the best hidden gems in all of so cal. John Q. (owner of the Ramos House, also in San Juan Capistrano) has outdone himself with the details in this venue.. From rafters that imported from old barns in the midwest, to authentic mission style decor throughout the entire property. If you are planning a wedding with around 100 guests this is a must see location.

Take an incredibly good looking bride and groom, place them at their family’s estate in Shady Canyon… add in Lisa Moon Events and the nDemand band and you get a truly unforgettable evening.Â I cant over state the importance of a good band/DJ/M.C. as well as a quality event planner.Â Glenn and Brook were such an inspiration to watch… they are the kind of couple that get you pumped and inspire to enjoy your spouse that much more.

Jacqueline & Matthew had their wedding at the awesome Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach CA.Â As I’ve said before, I love the Surf & Sand, and as many weddings I do there, it kinda feels like my “home field”.Â If you are considering a so-cal wedding, you really need to check this place out.

Enough of that, on to the awesome pics!Â Jacqueline met Matthew a while back while he was in the sates on “holiday” from England.Â We joked all day with Matt that he brought the gray clouds from the UK.Â I actually love rainy weddings, I know you brides hate to hear this, but the rain gives the photos such a cool vibe.

Santa Barbara Wedding at Our Lady Mount Carmel – Nicole Brian

A few weeks ago I saw the coolest couple ever get married in Santa Barbara.Â Brian and Nicole were by far the most laid back, fun loving and “chill” couple i’ve ever shot.Â One example of this is when Brian opened his tuxedo bag to only find 5 white shirts…. NO TUX!Â His response?Â No problem, we’ll figure it out somehow!!!!Â Â I would have been irate, but Brian kicked back on the bed and watched a little TV while his best man found him a new Tuxedo.

The day began at the Mar Monte, then we headed off to Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Montecito for the ceremony, then finished up with the reception at the Montecito Country Club

Biltmore and Cicada Wedding Photos in Los Angeles (Chris and Jen)

This was an awesome day at the Millennium Biltmore to get ready and a Cicada wedding reception, actually one of those where cant wait to blog it!
Jen and Chris had such a great day and I was glad to be a part of it.Â Â Â I was lucky to have the awesome Mandy Marie shoot with me.

We started at the Biltmore hotel…Â Chris wrote Jen a nice little love note before the day begins

After the Biltmore, we headed to the First United Methodist Church in Pasadena CA

Jen’s Sister Laura is a catering manager at the Nixon Library.Â I LOVE it when vendors refer me, it is the greatest compliment.

This time of a wedding is my favorite part.Â While everything else is going to schedule, I sit back and hang with
dad and the bride.Â As a father of 2 girls, I always love the moments i catch right before they walk down the isle.

The Cicada Restaurant looked amazing.Â I found out that the Cicada was the first art deco building in Los Angeles.
Although I’m not sure it had the name Cicada back then as it was a men’s clothing store.

I had to post this shot, Chris totally tripped and almost dropped her and i caught this shot by chance.
Not the most flatteringÂ photo of Chris but i’m sure i have his permission as the moment was so funny!

They recovered nicely.Â Such a great moment!

Ok I have no Idea why I made a french reference, but tonight was a great round 2.Â I have nothing to compare it too because I have yet to shoot the same people 2 days in a row, but I hope they are all this great!!!Â I will write a little more tomorrow, but I just have to say that they LOVE to kiss,.Â and they look dang good doin it!!!

OK, last night I got the opportunity to hangout with Anthony and ErinÂ as they “tied the knot”.Â (I was shooting for JimKennedy (jkpweddings.comÂ 99% of all my weddings are through Jim) and I knew back whenÂ I shot their engagements that theseÂ two were going to be fun!!Â They are the type of people that just seem so kick back and in the swing of things… Right before Anthony went out to see his bride he said “Oh man I’m going to loose it when I see her”, now that’s a man!!!, (p.s I cried like a baby when my father in law walked my wife down the isle)Â although I didn’t notice him tearing up too much.

Congrats guys!!!Â Have fun in Hawaii!!!
