Maui Fun with the Cotters

Heather and I just flew in from Maui where we went to photograph Doug and Laura’s wedding at the Maui Four Seasons in Wailea . The reason I am posting this as soon as I arrived, is that I challenged myself to stay “offline” for the entire trip. I did this last time we were in Hawaii and I really felt it was key to me relaxing and spending quality family time. I am proud to say that I was a good boy once again and refrained from being an internet ie Maui (ok so i did sneak a few emails from the Treo, but that doesn’t count)

The funny thing is that we ended up right next to Jim on our way out as he was headed to London (computer geeks Unite!)

Our last day at the Alisal, also became our first day in Hawaii. We packed up at 4am and left the ranch to make an 8am flight to Oahu. This was such a needed trip for our family as we have not been able to travel since Kaitlyn got sick in 06. All in all we couldnt have asked for a better end to our year.

OK, last night I got the opportunity to hangout with Anthony and ErinÂ as they “tied the knot”.Â (I was shooting for JimKennedy (jkpweddings.comÂ 99% of all my weddings are through Jim) and I knew back whenÂ I shot their engagements that theseÂ two were going to be fun!!Â They are the type of people that just seem so kick back and in the swing of things… Right before Anthony went out to see his bride he said “Oh man I’m going to loose it when I see her”, now that’s a man!!!, (p.s I cried like a baby when my father in law walked my wife down the isle)Â although I didn’t notice him tearing up too much.

Congrats guys!!!Â Have fun in Hawaii!!!
