Jacqueline & Matthew had their wedding at the awesome Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach CA. As I’ve said before, I love the Surf & Sand, and as many weddings I do there, it kinda feels like my “home field”. If you are considering a so-cal wedding, you really need to check this place out.

Enough of that, on to the awesome pics! Jacqueline met Matthew a while back while he was in the sates on “holiday” from England. We joked all day with Matt that he brought the gray clouds from the UK. I actually love rainy weddings, I know you brides hate to hear this, but the rain gives the photos such a cool vibe.

Engagement Photos on Catalina Island – Brian & Cheryl

From the moment we stepped off the Catalina Express, it was non stop shooting. Catalina Island is pretty special to Brian and Cheryl so it was a natural choice for their Engagement Photo shoot. I had a blast with these two and I have to say the camera liked them as well.

Montage Resort Wedding Photos – Ami and Kevin

Ami and Kevin had an AMAZING wedding at the Montage resort. Everything was covered with with such detail and so though. From decor by Square Root Designs, to Video By the great Elysium Productions, and Music by West Coast Music…. I could go on and on. At the end of the day it wasn’t all of the awesome detail that I remember, but the tight bond i saw through out both Ami and Kevin’s families.

Arroyo Trabuco Wedding – Betsy & Kyle

Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo was the backdrop for Betsy and Kyle’s AWESOME day. Not only did Betsy and Kyle have such a kick back relaxed vibe, their style totally matched Arroyo Trabuco. Thanks to Amanda with Fantasy Floral, Justin with Generations Entertainment, and ESPECIALLY Alyson at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club (one of the BEST catering Directors EVER!)

Santa Barbara Wedding at Our Lady Mount Carmel – Nicole Brian

A few weeks ago I saw the coolest couple ever get married in Santa Barbara. Brian and Nicole were by far the most laid back, fun loving and “chill” couple i’ve ever shot. One example of this is when Brian opened his tuxedo bag to only find 5 white shirts…. NO TUX! His response? No problem, we’ll figure it out somehow!!!! I would have been irate, but Brian kicked back on the bed and watched a little TV while his best man found him a new Tuxedo.

The day began at the Mar Monte, then we headed off to Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Montecito for the ceremony, then finished up with the reception at the Montecito Country Club

Altadena Country Club Wedding – Yvonne & Rick

Yvonne & rick had an awesome day in Altadena at the Altadena Town and Country Club. I love the style of this venue.. It is such a gem. The rustic 1930’s feel really matched the way Rick and Yvonne had decorated the place. Here are some great photos of an awesome couple. Honestly two of themost selfless people ive met. All day Rick made sure everyone in attendance was having the best time possible.

Ed and Mary’s awesome ceremony was at Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church, Santa Ana, CA with a Turnip Rose Wedding Reception.. Even though I shoot at the Turnip Rose quite often, this was my first Coptic Wedding, it was really great to see all of the traditions and chants etc . I have a lot of respect for couples that align their beliefs and lifestyles.

Wedding at Balboa Pavilion & Back bay – Rob and Sara

Last Saturday at the Harbor Side Pavilion in Balboa Beach, I had the chance to be a part of the most fun, relaxed, feel good wedding ever. It is always great when you find a couple that is about each other and getting married vs having a production.
