Ok I am sorry to all of you who were on a bit of a routine of checking my blog…  as many of you might know we had some issues with my family and I was not able to post.  I am trying to climb back up on the (blog)horse and start posting again.  The next few weeks are pretty full so I should be at it here on the blog, but for now I will leave you with a few shots of a very sweet couple who were married at the Surf and Sand this last weekend (Oh my Gosh was it a boiler!!!!!)

Ok ScottBounds of scottbounds.com and globaldesign.net is one of the most amazing code guys I know!!

ScottBounds is responsible for my cool little header image up top.  The entire image is completely random.  It pulls files out of a thumbnail folder at random and places them over a background image.  Try it, press F5 or refresh a couple times.

He is also wrapping up production on a Star Wars fan film.  You can see the trailer and/or help out his cause with a little paypal love urban-jedi.com 

Wow, I have been tweaking this little blog app and I have to say that it is AMAZING!!   Hats off to the WordPress team, you really could charge buko bucks for this app (glad you don’t though).  Coming from blogger and pixelpost, the back end makes me feel like I was using Fisher Price. 

The possibilities with plug-ins are virtually limitless.  (ps, shoot me a comment if you have any great plugin’s or if any of mine bug you).  I like the Syndicate plug-in, one click and you can add me to your favorite reader (I’m a big fan of google/ig)

OK enough of that for now.  Just a big thank you to Word Press!!

Ok, other than the default post that was entered when I set up the blog, this is my first post.

I am excited to start blogging.  When I say “start blogging” I mean, other than my photoblog.   I have had a fotoblog for about a year and a half, with over 160k unique visits, but I felt that I didn’t really have a way for people to know what I was up-to. 

I hope to post updates in all areas of my personal and photographic life..   Including; vacations, family outings, wedding photos, deep thoughts, biblical inspiration, engagement sessions, product photography, architectural photography, tear sheets…   WOW I am really rambling. 

I am also really excited about the flicker ‘esque links on the left hand side.  They basically link to the most commonly occurring words in my posts. So i guess it will show where my mind and heart are.
