We decided to head over to the Knot’s Soak City water park in Palm Springs.  I’m usually not one for theme parks, but when you have a 5&6 year old melting in the desert, you can only do so many pool days in a row.  We had a blast and I was so proud of how daring the girls were.  Also my wife looks pretty hot in a bikini so there is also that

Madeline was SOOO AWESOME.  We tried to go on this once but Madeline had to back out.
Right before leaving the park I asked if she wanted to go.. she said…
“daddy i thought about it and…  yes!”  haha she was amazing, this must be super scary for a 6yr old
but she rocked it!!

It is rough but someone has to do it!, we’ve decided to get away for spring break..  Leg one of the trip is a few days with papa and ava in La Quinta.  After that we roll out Tuesday to somewhere that has yet to be decided (we are open to suggestions)   The first plan was the grand canyon, but rumor is there is snow on the ground.  We’d love any ideas

Heather and I just flew in from Maui where we went to photograph Doug and Laura’s wedding at the Maui Four Seasons in Wailea . The reason I am posting this as soon as I arrived, is that I challenged myself to stay “offline” for the entire trip. I did this last time we were in Hawaii and I really felt it was key to me relaxing and spending quality family time. I am proud to say that I was a good boy once again and refrained from being an internet ie Maui (ok so i did sneak a few emails from the Treo, but that doesn’t count)

The funny thing is that we ended up right next to Jim on our way out as he was headed to London (computer geeks Unite!)
