Engagement Photos for John and Melanie at the Mission

Monday, April 14th, 2008

This past Sunday John, Melanie, and I had a great time at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. I always feel that
I’m in a different country when I shoot here as the Mission has so much character and history. To that point i must say that the Mission has to be a tie for my most favored location (along with the beach).

John Cole pt1

Tuesday, March 21st, 2006

Today I am headed down to shoot an engagement session with the soon to be Cole(s). They are gettin married at RanchoCapistrano (one of the coolest venues for lighting and several environment options). Anyhow, Last night I had the opportunity to get a few images of John for a new realty ad campaign he is developing. The shoot took place at Austin Taylor, an incredible Men’s Clothing store in Anaheim. The environment was super (I’m definitely going to go back and invest in some new threads there), and I kept telling john that he needs to run for office!!! Check out John’s website, and buy a home from him.. it’s the least you can do ;-) http://www.johncolerealestate.com/

Here are the images, check back soon to see their engagements..

Bertolini Project Wrapped up

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006

I just received a few comps from the designer on the Bertolini project.
I worked with PlainJoeStudios (http://plainjoestudios.com/) to produce an
appealing line of photographs of the Bertolini chairs.

I did not deserve any credit for the great design work below,
just the photographs

This is an exciting image.  It is a mock-up of a trade show booth
backdrop.  This image Will be around 30′ wide.  I can’t wait to
post a few pictures of the actual backdrop when it is printed. booth1

this is a 100% crop/close-up of a similar shot in the layout.
I was pleased with how well the texture sharpness was preserved.
The images needed the largest amount of detail due to the
large size and close viewing distance.  100percent
